Like the Lolita Fashion Show, we're also hoping to feature a fashion show dedicated to Traditional Japanese Fashion. Because of the artistic nature of Japan's fashion styles throughout history, there will be several entree categories:
Womens- This includes all female kimono, yukata, geisha, haori, hakama
Mens- This includes all male kimono, yukata, haori, hakama
Festival Outfits- This includes Wedding Kimono, Festival Clothing, Kabuki
Historical- This includes all Samurai, Shinobi, Military Uniforms, Religious Outfits, etc. Note: The uniform kimono worn by the Shinsengumi falls into this category, NOT the Mens category.
Props: while such items as fans, wagasa (paper umbrella), pinwheels, etc. are happily accepted as a great accent to any costume, they will not be judged and thus will not affect the final judgment of the overall costume.
PLEASE NOTE: While proper hairstyles and foot wear are not required, they will earn extra points when the outfit is judged.

Any updates regarding this event will be posted here, as an edited addition to the original post.
