Like the Lolita Tea Party event, another increasingly popular event at anime cons today is the cosplay picnic. Regardless of if it's a group of cosplayers from a specific series or just a group of just a group of friends, the hotel's central green area framed with evergreen trees to the back and the gazebo and "stage" area to the center is a perfect place for a picnic. Especially on a beautiful August afternoon! Because who doesn't want to spread out a blanket and enjoy some pocky and romune with their best buds?

Anyone interested in this even should contact me via email: natakuxeden@gmail.com

To be absolutely clear, there is a law that specifically states NO PUBLIC ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION, REGARDLESS OF AGE! If ANYONE, regardless of age, is caught in violation of this rule, there will be serious consequences. We do not take illegal activity lightly, especially because we are a FAMILY FRIENDLY convention. This should be common sense and I honestly didn't think that I'd have to spell it out word by word, but after that comment, I'm shocked to realize that I've mistaken. So, for everyone's clearification:

ALL ATTENDEES WILL ABIDE BY CONVENTION RULES AT ALL TIMES!
ALL ATTENDEES WILL ABIDE BY STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS AT ALL TIMES!
ALL ATTENDEES WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN ACTIONS!!!

ANIME DETROIT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY PERSONS FROM THE GROUNDS/CONVENTION IF THERE IS ANY SORT OF MISCONDUCT!!!

I would love a cosplay picnic. Cosplaying outdoors is always fun. ^_^

Unless it's raining. o_o Lets hope that doesn't happen. I might make some bento boxes before the trip. That is, if it's on Friday. ^_^; Regardless I'll probably attend if it happens.

Also the Kroger on 18 mile and Livernois makes Sushi Fresh Daily and also they have tea to go along with it. I've tried it and it's pretty good, just a thought though
